About Sukhavara

Wellbeing, held to the highest standard.

Sukha means wellbeing. Vara means excellence. Our name is our promise, and it has been since 1987.

Our story

Three doctors, one idea.

In 1987 three doctors opened a 60-bed hospital on Sukhumvit with an idea that seemed unusual then: that a hospital should feel calm, that doctors should have time, and that families belong at the bedside.

Almost forty years later we have 450 private rooms and patients from 160 countries, but the idea has not changed.
